We got a good laugh out of the comments to the last post.  I will have to check out American Idol.  Right now the singer I see has the same haircut as Casey does, but his skin tone is much darker.  Oh, his name is Michael, so it can't be the same guy, I'll have to keep watching.  Hey, Emily (Miley Cyrus) is on American Idol too!  The Tar Heels are on,  but the game before them is in double overtime, so I will have to change the channel soon. 
Casey's eye doctor was out sick today, so that appointment will be rescheduled.  His white blood count is still at .8, which keeps him away from people, and he needed another platelet transfusion today. I'm not sure what he is more impatient with, his counts not recovering, or this game that is keeping him from watching his Tar Heels.

    I have another actress for the part of Emily, Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls, she is an excellent talker!. Still working on the Casey part and Mom too. Patience, Good things come to those who wait!!

    If Casey from American Idol plays Casey and Miley plays Emily...does anyone else think "musical"? Is there any way to work synchronized swimming into the movie?

    Peggy should be played by Kim Catrell, Gary can be Jeff Bridges, Kathryn Heigl should be Stevie and I'm still thinking about who the perfect actor is for Casey!

    I agree with Kathryn Heigl for Stevie. Maybe Matt Damon for Casey, though he might be a little old.

    After all the Pics from sectionals shown at last nites banquet and seeing the senior boys biceps and shirtless chests, I think we definitely have to get Taylor Lautner(?) to play Casey.
